Do you think it is important to have 'tough skin' on this site in order to "survive"?

I think so, just as it's important to have tough skin offline. In saying that.... I am under the impression though that the most belligerent, insult slinging, smug, indignant, self righteous, people ON here, are probably XTRA wimpy offline, so they use this forum to vent their frustrations, because they are hiding behind a screen. LOL for real.

On this site and out there in the real world....if you let every little thing that is said get under your skin you would stay in a state of upset all the time....I am not going to agree with everyone and everyone is not going to agree with me...I can live with that....
Peace be with you.

It's important to have a calm mind and no buttons to push, and a sense of humor. Tough skin is only going to protect you from getting bitten by rabid, golfer-hating squirrels.

If you are heavily emotionally invested in being "right" and making other people believe you are "right" than you are going to have a problem here or anywhere else.
