the US Constitution violates the First Commandment!

it welcomes other gods here -- even encourages them!!!

proving, once again, that this is NOT a christian nation, and our very fundamental US Constitution violates the bible directly, by directly spitting in the face of the First Commandment.

ya gotta like that!!

Since when is violating the First Commandment a crime in Sweden (or anywhere for that matter)?

Your point was lost on most of the crowd.

But to second the best answer here, sin and crime are two different things. Here in the states it's illegal to jaywalk, yet there's nothing in the Bible about that....

And just for GP, you know most people in the world violate the first commandment.

They do not embrace religion that is why there is low crime rate. They do not violate any of the commandments because they were not taught about it yet they were taught of the most important...love of self and love of others.

Religious rules and morality and legality are all, thankfully, separate issues.

It'd be nice if we could just discard the religious rules and then keep legality and morality separate, as they should be.

One of the most annoying religious affectations is the desire to put your god's words into law. I see this a lot with Christians, and lately I see more of it with Muslims (cf. the push to make blasphemy an international crime).

Hate to say this but couldn't part of this be that many drugs and prostitution are legal there? That does tend to reduce statistics. Oh and doesn't Sweden financially encourage mothers to spend some time home parenting? I had heard they gave a stipend for the first year or two.

That doesn't make sence at all! BTW, I don't know anyone that has got any other gods on the side of God.
