At Jesus’ birth, the angel Gabriel told the virgin Mary:
“‘Greetings, O favored one, the Lord is with you!’ But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and tried to discern what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, ‘Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.’ And Mary said to the angel, ‘How will this be, since I am a virgin?’ And the angel answered her, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God’” (Luke 1:26-35).

Well it started with God, he told the Angel to tell Mary, and then Jesus was Jesus and He was born. The name Jesus had evolved either from or into several different names such a John and Joshua

An angel named Gabriel appeared to Mary and told her she was pregnant with God's son and is to name him Jesus. He also said that Joseph should be Jesus's father. Mary was scared because she was about 16 years old and she was a virgin, yet she was pregnant!

it's not in Isaiah 62. likely in chapter 7:14, chapter 9:1-7 or chapter 11:1-5
but I guess Jesus was just what everyone called Him. Mary was told to call Him that, Joseph was told to call Him Immanuel. guess that was just the more popular one. like the book of Mark was written by "John Mark" whom everyone just called "Mark". like that I guess. Jesus means "Savior", so it fits.

"Jesus" is an Anglicization of the Greek ÎηÏοÏ
Ï IÄsous, itself a transliteration of the Hebrew ×××שע Yehoshua or Hebrew-Aramaic ×ש××¢ Yeshua, meaning "YHWH is salvation"; and where "Christ" is a title derived from the Greek christós, meaning the "Anointed One", which corresponds to the Hebrew-derived "Messiah".
Derived name from previous writing.
