My boyfriend has a visa credit card, and if i wanted to join that account do you think i can do that without having any credit myself?

I agree with the others about being added as an authorized user.

I just wanted to add that you should by added as an authorized user and NOT as a joint holder.

Being an AU, you are not responsible for the card or any charges your boyfriend makes. You can be removed from the account at any time if he mishandles the card.
Being a joint user, you would also be held responsible for any misuse on the card.

Your boyfriend can ask for an additional card for your use, but the credit history and responsibility for making the payments will remain his and his alone.

He could most likely add you to his card. If he does that, then he is taking responsibility for anything you charge on the card and don't pay - he'd have to pay it.

i did.before me and my husband got married i was added to his card and i didn't have any credit.
