God some of these religious folk are so damn touchy . i dont mean literally sell me the idea of being a bible basher , if u got ur head out of the clouds u would read that Im an atheist Ie : I have a brain . i was just interested in what makes u believe as so far and u havent disproven this . Not one religious person Ive EVER come across can justify with any sense why they believe in an invisible being ....

"Where has God gone?" he cried. "I shall tell you. We have killed him - you and I. We are his murderers. But how have we done this? How were we able to drink up the sea? Who gave us the sponge to wipe away the entire horizon? What did we do when we unchained the earth from its sun? Whither is it moving now? Whither are we moving now? Away from all suns? Are we not perpetually falling? Backward, sideward, forward, in all directions? Is there any up or down left? Are we not straying as through an infinite nothing? Do we not feel the breath of empty space? Has it not become colder? Is it not more and more night coming on all the time? Must not lanterns be lit in the morning? Do we not hear anything yet of the noise of the gravediggers who are burying God? Do we not smell anything yet of God's decomposition? Gods too decompose. God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we, murderers of all murderers, console ourselves? That which was the holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet possessed has bled to death under our knives. Who will wipe this blood off us? With what water could we purify ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we need to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we not ourselves become gods simply to be worthy of it? There has never been a greater deed; and whosoever shall be born after us - for the sake of this deed he shall be part of a higher history than all history hitherto."

I believe in God because I think that any universe with a 10^123 chance of existing has to have a creator, that this creator must be personal then, so I'm born again, as well as the fact that you can't get better than Jesus; I'm not selling anything, just answering a question; this still counts as one sentence as even though it may not be 100% grammatically correct, the semi-colons bake it one.

They believe in an invisible thing because they choose to and because God gave them choice, and God let you choose to hate him and so if God is real then you will go to hell and I will watch you cry your sorry butt away, and just so you know athiests will try so hard to give excuses on some Bible points so delete this question it will spark arguements.

You have to believe in the existence of a God to be an atheist, you cannot be an atheist of something that is none existent.

I have not enough evidence to not believe we are ruled by a higher power, which to me is God

I believe in an energy that ties all living things together - The Divine or The All; that is my god.

You obviously don't use the brain you claim to have since you yourself believe in an invisible being.

Do you believe in me? I'm invisible to you.

Why do you believe in me?

That was very easy.

You clearly operate at a very low level.

No one can truly sell G-d, even if one had all the proof in the world because G-d is beyond all proof in the world... beyond words and beyond sentences.
