When Jesus returns the next time it will be in full glory as 'King of kings and Lord of lords descending from the heavens. Beware of imitators, there's a few of them out there already. Look up and not around you.

Well, actually, as a Baha'i, I have recognized the latest Messenger of God -- so you might say that when He showed up I believed Him. OTOH, if someone showed up tomorrow, I would not believe him, because Baha'u'llah said it would be at least 1000 years before God sent another Messenger: "Whoso layeth claim to a Revelation after Him, such a man is assuredly a lying impostor. We pray God that He may graciously assist him to retract and repudiate such claim. Should he repent, God will no doubt forgive him. If, however, he persisteth in his error, God will assuredly send down one who will deal mercilessly with him. He, verily, is the Almighty, the Most Powerful."
(Baha'u'llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah, p. 244)
We've got about 860 years to go......

Well, if you mean THE SON OF GOD, then no I would not believe him. Jesus told us how he would come again and I do not believe we will mistake it for another event.
As a Christian we are considered children of God. This means doing his will as directed in the Bible. When you claim to be a Christian others will watch you and see what fruit you produce.

As you say, Jesus rose again.
Believing comes by revelation from God. Peter did not believe, could not believe until it was revealed to him from the Father - And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Christ has clearly and carefully explained that - No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. (and other passages)
But it is not possible for the elect to be deceived - For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Behold, I have told you before.
You make a very great mistake if you think that the things of God can be decided upon by the mere mind of man.

I wouldn't just take his word for it-he'd have to be able to prove it.And even then whether I'd follow him would depend which God had fathered him.
I am a Celtic Pagan so the son of the Abrahamic God would be of little interest to me.

Jesus proved who he was by the miracles he did
Joh 14:11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.
John 10:
24 The Jews gathered around him, saying, "How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly."
25 Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father’s name speak for me,
26 but you do not believe because you are not my sheep.

okay..let's lay all the "revelations" text aside..if a guy or girl came up to me and said that they were Jesus Christ..would I believe them?
Jesus wasn't an ordinary guy...as a boy he was found in the temple taking with the priest..which would be akin to a child talking with george bush..sorry that is hardly a good comparision on multiple levels
Even if one's religion doesn't recognize Jesus as "God"..there still is alot of respect for the person as being of great intelligence and wisdom.
Jesus knew law/religion/politics/money/philosophy etc...which was amazeing for a mere carpenter..
I think if Jesus approached me..I would know it..
BUt whom am I to question God???
He could easily return as the bumm down the block..
Yes if someone told me he was "God"..i would believe him

He didn't call himself the Son of God, he called himself the Son of Man, which was a label his home town stuck on him when they scoffed "Isn't this Joseph's son?" In other words, 'isn't he simply a son of a man?'
Most gospel readers simply cannot see the diction of Christ contains layers of meaning that often contains irony at the expense of his listeners. When you hail from eternity it is difficult not to offend the intellectually inferior mind.
They took offence at him because his wisdom stripped them of their authority to teach and therefore to control the people, which was a dialectic undressing process that exposed a substrate of violence and murder that rippled just below the calm veneer of their self righteousness. Their violence eventually made their religion look as false as 'whitewashed sepulchres'.
If someone claimed to be the son of God (singular) tomorrow I would argue it as illogical for God has many sons and daughters, not just one.

When He returns to earth again everyone will know Him, He will be coming in the clouds, no if a person came and claimed He was Jesus tomorrow and he didn't come in the clouds, no I wouldn't believe him. Because when Jesus returns everyone will know and hear.
