What, if anything, is wrong with these two sentences in Spanish?

¿Has escrito a Juan? Sí lo he escrito.

¿Has escrito a Juan? - It is correct

Sí, le he escrito.

You need to say "LE has escrito a Juan?" "Sí, LE he escrito." In English, we can say "I have written him", but in Spanish, you have to say "I have written to him."
