When I think of the Universe, I hold to creation. If the universe came into being by an exploding star that started the big bang. Where did the star that exploded come from? But, the Bible in itself, takes us back to a time, when there was neither, Space, Matter or Time.
This we can see on Passover night as Jesus prayed in the garden before his arrest, trial and crucifixion.
Here in John 17:5 we read concerning the pre-existence of Jesus, before this world ever was.
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
Showing us, that before anything ever exist - There is God, of whom it brings me joy, through Jesus now, that I to can call him Father.

God exist in Eternity without creation or beginning, time itself was created by God for us as he does not need it.
As for the Big Bang? from what?
And whatever answer is Given I will ask that question again until infinity, How did the something come from nothing with physical evidence that I can test and examine?
I do not want theory, I want testable evidence of a Big bang, and the only evidence I will accept is for a Big bang to be produce from the nothingness , If that cannot be done,Then The Evolutionist loses and Creation wins,

It's cosmology, not cosmogony. And it wouldn't be considered a science if we didn't have anything to back it up. Fortunately, we have lot of evidence for the big bang - like the expanding universe and the microwave background radiation.

You must first understand that the universe is vast, and unlike anything we know. Could God have created the millions of stars, plants, suns and debris? If looked at scientifically, we use light years for distance, and a light year is how far light has traveled in a year. Some stars are millions of light years away, therefore we are seeing it as if it was that long ago. Could God have created this in 6 days, and have done this on purpose? Who knows. It all depends on one's belief.

Well I am a subscriber to M Theory which includes the Big Bang. There is no evidence whatsoever that any god created anything.

I believe that God started creating by means of the "Big Bang."

Well, let's see, the Big Bang Theory has evidence...
Creation comes from an old book that asserts its own authority in the way someone can tell you something outlandish, then claim "I'm right because I say I'm right."
The choice is obvious to anyone with a working brain.

Why not ask if electricity is the result of thunderbolts from God or collections of negatively and positively charged atoms?
Or ask whether aerodynamic lift causes planes (and birds) to fly or some other supernatural cause?
Do you want to ask whether germs cause infection or bad smelling air?
On what evidence do you ask this question? How would you know if the answer was accurate?

God snapped his fingers and that was the Big Bang.
He was the "pop-maker."
He also set the speed of light at its value, pre-determined the exact amoung of energy (and thus the mass of the universe and thus its lifetime), the nature of space and time....all that was part of the music of his 'snapped fingers.'
So I believe there is not 'either-or".
