I believe in God and have faith that he will take care of me in my death and afterlife....at this point in my life....Yes, I am afraid....my children are still little, and as much as I trust my husband I want to be with him to raise them. Selfish--yes, I am I want to grow old with my husband.....I want to hold grandchildren with him some day...In other words if I were to die I feel that I am on the right track spiritually, but maybe I am not quite there yet because I really want to stick around and be here for my family....I have recently lost family members that I would love to be with again -- just not at the moment. I do not like to leave things unfinished.....and my boys aren't grown yet.......

No. I am not afraid of Death or Dying. I have a strong spiritual belief that Death is not the worst thing that can happen to me. I believe Death is Freedom.

Yes I am a little afraid of death but I am more afraid of the Day of Judgement and standing before ALLAH(SWT) and wondering whether I'll go to Jinnah which I hope happens or Jahannam.

It's not a matter of being afraid of death. It's how we will die that keeps us on the edge. Death cannot be avoided, we all know it's coming someday. All we can do is think of going out peacefully.

Like many here, I put on a brave front and often think "if I died today, it wouldn't be that bad."
Of course if some terrorist event happened, or a Mack truck burst through my wall, or whatever, I'd be scared.
And not from "dying," because lots of deaths don't really hurt anyway. I'd be scared to lose my existance. So would the rest of you.

I don't like the idea of others dying or of my opportunities in this life ending, but I'm not afraid of death.

No I am not afraid of death. I am only afraid it will drag out. I would prefer quick. Such as getting run over by a mack truck.

At times, yes because there is so much that I need to accomplish. But as for death in general, I've been very close and it's not that scary. Just a dreamless sleep.

Ecclesiastes c9 v5 " The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all...." So on that note I think I can safely say that I am not afraid of death.
