It sounds like you need an education very, very badly. If you get one, it's quite likely that both you and your parent's wishes will be fulfilled.
You want an online bible degree? You can't be serious. Please, get to a school of some sort quickly...before it's too late!

What exactly is your problem with the NHS? I certainly agree with you that presuming to preach the word of God is a truly fearful responsibility, even if I am not sure that I quite agree with you about the prospective consequences. Unfortunately, some people believe that - because they can read the Bible - they are therefore qualified to expound upon its meaning. Personally, I would expect someone to have an academic qualification in divinity before doing so (preferably from an old university). But is this to say that those outside of academia (or outside of Oxbridge) know nothing of Scriptures? This is absurd. That's a very suggestive gherkin in your avatar picture. Might I suggest you replace it with a less scandalous vegetable, like a cauliflower. Or maybe a chive.

Definently drop the Xian crap. But money isn't important either. True knowledge is. Put down the Bible and pick up a textbook. Learn your history, algebra, chem, physics, biology, literature, grammar.
Don't worry about money, you don't need it to survive.
God isn't going to help you. Why would an omnipotent being give a crap about you.

Learning God's word, while you are making money. It's all about keeping things in balance. Money is important because we need it to survive. But, it isn't the most important thing in life.

God won't buy you food at Wendy's. With a bachelors Degree in religion you will excel in the food service or housekeeping industries. You can quote the Bible while preparing curly fries.

if you really want the the degree you should go for it. God will provide for you if you truly believe in Him. you may not have as much money as you would if you just made money right now but after you get the degree you will make money and God will take care of you right now.

Honor your Father and your Mother. They obviously have more sense than you do.
You can study the Bible as a hobby, you don't need to go to school for it. Honestly, anyone who spends an entire college education studying one book is some kind of idiot.
