Mashed potatoes and gravy, scrambled eggs, polenta, risotto, any cooked cereal either with butter/salt/pepper or milk and brown sugar or honey. Mashed bananas and peanut butter (don't gag.......it's not bad).
If you are craving sweets, you can suck on hard candy. Werther's has some good ones.
You can also mash most any vegetable with any herbs and spices you like, to a soft consistancy (like baby food). You might have to overcook the veggies a bit........

Hang in there.......your mouth will heal and you will be able to indulge in all the great foods you love again.

I ate a lot of spaghetti-o's, milkshakes (don't use a straw!), fried mozzerella sticks, mac & cheese, and bean burritos. Not the healthiest diet, but I couldn't deal with a liquid diet either. I do recomend avoiding rice, because even though it's easy to eat, the little bits get back in the holes and are hard to get clean unless you have a syringe.

After I had a tooth pulled, I had to eat soft foods too. My husband went out and bought me some Boston Market sides. I had mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. As long as you don't have to really bite down on the food item, it'll be okay to eat. Even a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is okay.

How can you be sick of pudding? Now I want a Snack Pack...

Tomato soup (not too hot though), mashed potatoes, applesauce, beans, spaghetti o's, fruit smoothie (don't use a straw though, and don't use fruit with little seeds!), and my friend actually ate baby food...
