A "Mickey" is usually about 375ml, "26" is 26oz (750ml), "40" is 40oz (1.14L I think), "60" is 60oz (approx. 1.75L), and a "Texas Mickey" are those really big bottles that cost about $110 (usally they are Johhnie Walker Red)

As for how much to buy - it depends on how much you intend to drink, how often you will be drinking, and of course how much your body can actually handle. When in doubt, you can't go wrong with a 26 or a 40 - it won't go bad for quite a while, even if you only drink it once in a while.

However, if you are simply trying something new - stick to the Miniatures (usually sold at the cash, or attached as "freebies" on some 40's) or a Mickey until you're sure you like what you are buying. Most people end up with a bottle of Creme de Menthe (or whatever) stuck in the back of their liquor cabinet for years.

The bigger the better; alcohol doesn't go bad, so next time you won't have to bother going to the store. Vodka comes anywhere from a tiny little bottle (in America, they sell those typically behind the counter or on a shelf next to the checkout) to huge bottles. I'd say browse through the store; there are also flavored vodkas to choose from, which are very tasty.

If you're making screwdrivers, for instance, you can get Absolut Mandarin and your drink will taste like pure orange juice.

Even though you say there is enough material to take the smaller dress up a couple sizes, I would go with two sizes too big. Not too much room for error there .. I think they'd be able to form it to your body better as well ... and I think it would be cheaper. Easier to take in than to let out as everyone has said.

I think a 26er is a 26 ounce bottle, which would be what we call in America a "fifth" or a 750 mL bottle.

Are you in Canada? 19-year drinking age?

Vodkas comes in any size you want.

50ml Airplane bottle 200ml 1/2 pint 375ml pint 750ml a fifth that should be decent for two people Lt and that's 33.8oz and 1.75 also called a magum which is a liter and a fifth that's the largest you can buy.
