why do guys never flirt first

yeah they dooo !!! You probably just don't realize it, because it's less obvious than the girl's way of flirting...
He can smile at you, or look at you and blush and stuff like that...
But, mostly, when a guy likes you , you just know it...

I would say that it depends on the guy. I have guys flirt with me first. You also have to keep in mind that men are double standard. So you never know with them. They can want you to do one thing and when you do it they get mad. Or they can do whatever they want to you but you better not do them that same way. Maybe the guy is intimidated by your beauty.
