Sin is a term defined within religion. As an atheist I do not believe in "sin". However, what I consider a transgression or a crime against another human being you might call a sin.

"Do you really mean to tell me the only reason you try to be good is to gain God's approval and reward, or to avoid his disapproval and punishment? That's not morality, that's just sucking up, apple-polishing, looking over your shoulder at the great surveillance camera in the sky, or the still small wiretap inside your head, monitoring your every move, even your every base thought." --Richard Dawkins

Morals do not come from religion--they're naturally selected, as they are beneficial to a population.

Not in my own definition. There is moral and immoral and then there is shades of gray in which sometimes something falls between and can be either depending on situation. Life is too complicated and complex to make it so rigid as to just classify things in two categories.

sin is all a matter of perspective. what's a sin to one person might just be a part of life for another.

It doesn't matter if a person believes they are a sinner or not. Everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

I say no. What basis would you use for morality without religion? Society's morals are on the constant decline, with the "religious right" constantly arguing against issues that symbolize declining morals (abortion, homosexuality, pornography, etc). I don't know what would keep a non-religious person from doing whatever he wants, within the law, with no fear of consequences.

sin is not against a supposed god but it is an act against yourself or others

"Sin", no. (That is a religious word.)
Good and bad, yes.

No. Something isn't wrong because it's "just wrong." Something is wrong if it causes harm. Harming yourself (drinking to much) isn't morally wrong its just a bad idea.
