If you tell a friend that you are trying to get to know more to call you on the phone instead of emailing all the time because it would be faster and easier.. and you give them your number.... and they tell you that email would be better now because they lost thier voice and it is very scratchy and squeaky... what would you think?

Ask for their telephone number and see what they say. If they refuse to give it to you, then that might be a clue that they really don't want to talk to you. It is very easy for a person to bail out on someone by saying that they didn't get an email, or they didn't have the computer on, or their computer has been down. That is always an easy way to make excuses. If they only give you an email address or IM name then what that says to me is "I will only talk to you when I feel like it "

I would thinkk this person is hiding something...either not supposed to be talking with you....or is very shy. I would have said no problem if your voice is scratchy and squeaky*.....If it's a Friend you're trying to get to know more.....Keep your Eyes wide open......sounds like something isn't right* Hiding isn't a good sign*
