I believe the size of the pig, but an 11 year old shooting a .50 cal pistol? Eight shots to kill it? That's what I find fishy.

all I am saying is it is not out of the question. a .50 cal is powerful but with the right set up a kid can fire it. and wild hogs in the 600-700 lbs range is common in texas so why couldnt a 1000+ lb hog exist.
on the other hand why is a kid using a 50 caliber when a 30.06 would be fine. unless of course he knew that hog was around, it was on a ranch and fed or whatever.
all i know is im hoping it is real, that is one gutsy kid to be taking on a wild boar of any size. and he deserves grats if it is real
even though it was on a game reserve it was in an area over 1500 acres which is alot of ground to cover in order to find that hog. they just don't release the hog and say there it is shoot it. they are free range meaning they are on the land at all times roaming around so you still have to hunt it.
i do like the saying that jamison is buying a big shotgun and hoping dragons are real

That's a heck of a hog, but I see no reason not to believe the story. The exact size of the hog may not be accurate, but it's a monster. And though I never saw one anywhere near that size, I was certainly hunting hogs at that age.

I thought it was fake at first, but damn that is some crazy stuff. That hog is huge. How can something grow that big and survive is the wild without being seen/caught until now?
So Ya I believe it, also what 11 yr old kid hunts with a 50 cal revolver?

Im not sure believing it is an issue at all. The boar will be logged soon as the record. Everything has to be confirmed for it to be logged. Gun used, location, shots fired, etc. Its real, and someone will break the record I assure you !

He shot it on a game reserve. You know a fenced in area where you pay a guy to let a hog go and then shot it, better known as a canned hunt. But it still was big.

The pictures are pretty convincing, but then again photo shop is a good program. I think it's real, for now.

Yes, I do. And what I think would be quite amusing is to see you get in a card game with him.
