lots of people use that term but traditional witchcraft can be anything from any one of the wiccan traditions to familial witchcraft.

All Wiccans are Witches, but all Witches are not Wiccan.

Many Witches do not use "Wicca" as part of their Tradition, partly because "Wicca" as it exists now was created quite recently, and does not address other beliefs than their own, but instead tries to bring those beliefs under their control.

Not that I`m anti-wicca.

Traditional Witches usually come from a long line of Witches, or are trained by those who do.

There are many cultures with WitchCraft Traditions, including: Italian, Russian, Asian, Celtic, South&North American African, etc.

Read many Books, go to Pagan Pride days, talk to friends, have fun!

Yours in the Light /!\

P.S. "Skyclad" Means naked, which "Gardnerian Wiccans" usually insist on.

I agree with most of these answers. Traditional Witchcraft is basically in the eye of the beholder.
Many Wiccans consider themselves to be Traditional Witches because they follow a tradition begun about 60 years ago.
But others who are NOT Wiccan call themselves Traditional Witches because the knowledge and experience they have has been passed down through the family. I think (just my opinion) that most of these types are the Traditional Kitchen Witch, Hedge Witch etc. Instead of working with the pomp and circumstance of Wicca, they usually work with the natural energies around us all. (I'm one of these)

I'm with Kallan on this one... I've heard it defined many ways despite "stuff" I've read.

Less likely to go skyclad, more likely to be "kitchen" or "hedgerow" witch. ;-)
