Active Duty Drill Sergeant and Recruiter

None are non-deployable and it's pretty much that way all across the services (some exceptions, but nearly impossible to get). The best answer is Civilian Army Jobs. Most if any Army Civilian jobs are voluntary for deploying. Enlistment/officer wise, Doesn't matter if you're a cook, MWR, comm., or 11B, you'll get your chance soon enough.

NONE.

The purpose of the Army is to kill people and break things. This is hard to do in the USA. The Army is critically short on people these days, so they are contracting out as many of the non-combat jobs as possible. When was overseas it was local contractors who cooked the food, ran the mess hall, cleaned up the place, and even did a lot of the guard duty.

If you don't want to deploy, don't join.

That being said, not every job involves kicking in doors in the middle of Fubaristan. There are jobs that normally are associated with headquarters units, or medical units or hospitals. That being said the entire headquarters can deploy. I think 5th Army HQ is somewhere in Kuwait, and there are all the headquarters people in the Green Zone of Baghdad, and even CENTCOM HQ can get sent overseas at times, and they are about as far "in the rear with the gear" as you can get.

Any job, specifically, in the Army & Marines are deployable. There is a list the recruiter has, and jobs that need to be filled. Most wont tell you this, but its true. Its up to you to defend your country. If so, heres a thank you in advance

You can flip burgers at McDonalds. Jobs in the military that are nondeployable are nonexistant today. You might luck out and work in a position where you won't be deployed in the near future, but you are deployable, and you can always get orders.

Yep! If you don't wanna go anywhere don't join. But, just because you get deployed doesn't necassearily mean you're going to be fighting. So, if you don't want to FIGHT per se take a desk job (poge!) If you have some moral qualm about killing people you can be a Medic and carry around nothing but a field pack and a 9 MM. Or be a chaplain/chaplain's assistant. Then you get NO weapon!

Why do many people, especially young teenagers and adults think that just because they get into something like 46Q that they won't be deployed. I don't care what your job is in the Army, your first job as a solider is to fight above everything else. Even if you re-enlist and get a special duty assignment as a recruiter, your first duty is to fight.

any and every job is deployable you signed up its your duty to serve your country there are some jobs that you may have less of a chance of being in danger or being deployed but that does not mean that you wont get deployed
