Yes, you need to get her to the vet. There are so many things it could be, that would be the best thing to do.

It's good that your concerned but dogs do sleep a lot and they often will stay in the same spot for a long time. If she is acting normal other wise, like eating and drinking and going to the bathroom she is probably fine. But if she seems a lot more lethargic to you she may need a vet checkup just to be on the safe side. Good luck and hope everything goes well.

She might just be tired, dogs do sleep a lot, especially when they've gotten a good amount of exercise. Is she on medication that might be making her tired? If not, and if this is an unusual sleep behavior for her, taking her to the vet is the best thing you can do.

It probably is not necessary dude dogs sleep most of the day in an effort to save energy. After all a dog is really just a high bred wolf. And wolves did their hunting at night. Ask any vet he will tell you dogs will sleep at least half the day.

That's good your taking her to the vet. Do you think she ate anything that could've been bad for her? Is she crying? Is she eating and going to the bathroom? She could also just be tired.

Have you tried to move her or is she just soaking up the sun (or heating vent or something else)? If you can't rouse her, she needs to be brought in NOW rather than later.

Good luck and I hope it's nothing. My thoughts are with you and your pup.
