I attended a BBQ with my husband and out 3 year old. There was a lot of drinking, but I didn't drink because I was looking after my daughter. I wasn't having any fun and told my husband I wanted to go, but he wanted to stay. We had planned to stay overnight. My husband told me just to "cut loose." I just don't see how I could when my child is there, in a stranger's house, with lots of drunken adults.

Now all his friends think I'm no fun because I didn't get wasted with them.

Good for you...I've hung out with people that drink and ignore there kids...and you didn't. KUDDOS...(applause)
Forget what his friends "think" or say about you...honestly your priority is your child...and that is all that matters. Your husband should know better.
Good for you...really!

You need to talk to your husband about this behavior, especially if you have your child along. If he wants you to "cut loose" tell him to find a babysitter, then you will. He's obviously not being a responsible parent.

You can tell his friends that you're a fun person, when the baby isn't present and is with a babysitter.

good for you and the hell with your husband's friends. You were responsible enough to take care of your child. Now you deserve to have drink and have fun, either go out on your own or next time try to get a babysitter so you can kick back and relax

Let them think what they want. You did the right thing by not drinking and watch your 3 year old. We need more responsable parents like you out there.

It sounds like she has been damage contained in the previous and needs to be unmarried for awhile earlier she starts yet another relationship. i imagine she is probably attempting to pass so quickly because she needs to have that always love in the present day and she or he needs that protection of understanding she has a guy who would even purchase her a hoop, he loves her a lot. you ought to easily tell her that you imagine she is transferring too quickly, and that perchance you 2 ought to easily be friends for now till she will be able of get over her previous relationships, bc bringing that luggage right into a clean relationship will doom it for failure. tell her you sense like she is pushing you into this, and that's actual pushing you away, and also you do not opt to be yet another guy who hurts her, so it will be astounding in case you purely took a step back in the present day because the relationship has develop into uncomfortable for you. you'd be mendacity to her like each and every of the others in case you probably did not tell her the way you sense, and also you appreciate her too a lot to misinform her or keep her in a relationship that you do not sense is going ideal.

It doesn't matter what they think, honey.
You we're being a good mother and
that's what matters. In the future your daughter will be thankful to have a mom like you. That preffers her happiness over beer. As for your husband, tell him not to make babies if he is going to preffer to get wasted with them.

Ever heard of a babysitter. Why on earth did you take a child to a party for anyway, to use her for a reason not to cut loose, think about it!
