This is my first trip that I would like to take with my fiance. We would like to go to jamaica or hawaii. Which is better to visit? Where would I go to get good rates on the trip? which would include hotel,car and flight.....

I have been to both Jamaica & Hawaii and they are both quite different. I'm not really sure why the one poster said Jamaica is unsafe because well that isn't true. Well ok let me rephrase this. If you have ever heard someone talk about how they went to Jamaica and hated it, ask them where they stayed. 9 out of 10 times they stayed at a very cheap place. Don't get me wrong when you go to Jamaica you don't need to stay in the most expensive, but this isn't the place to go cheap. There standards are not the same as the US.
Hawaii is the # 1 top honeymoon destination - Jamaica is the # 2 top honeymoon destination. In other words they MUST be doing something right!
As far as which to go to, there are many qualifying questions a professional travel specialist (a good one anyhow) will ask you to determine where they feel is best to suit what you are envisioning for the trip as well as within your budget.
Without me knowing more I am unable to give you a recommendation on where you should go because without this additional info, I just can't say. Both are great in there own way!
Remember if you do travel to the Caribbean you will need a passport that is valid 6 months beyond your return travel date.
With agents for many years online companies undercut agencies to make people think online is always "cheaper" and I can tell you in fact have seen and proven it myself that in many times agents can get better rates for packages! Many agencies do charge a nominal service fee, but aside from that don't tack on commission. In fact if you go directly with say Pleasant Holidays, you pay the same amount only they make more money not having to pay an agency. Many agents work with various wholesalers some of which only work with agents. So they then in turn once it is narrowed down on dates and what you would like check to find the best rates available to you out of your city and with your dates.

You don't want to go to Jamaica, not only is the Caribbean over rated but Jamaica is not too safe now days.
Good to Paradise...Hawaii. Any of the island would work, but Maui or the Big Island would be best. Try Pleasant Hawaiian's website for the best deals.

at first each and every place needs to make money off of visitors. no count if its up scale and or not are they actually care approximately is your money. nevertheless i could p.c.. Hawaii over Jamaica any day. yet thats with the aid of fact I even have never been to neither. As for you i could say Jamaica, get a sparkling adventure.
