You can always check with (Al`Quran).. The Answer you looking for is all there... If you Confuse you can always Go to the Mosque & check with Imam.. .I` m tired of explaining thing that if you don`t want to understand.. Any way you are not surposed to Understand..! Not your level to do that after all..you are just Human God Creat you with a limited Brain if you used your Brain for the wrong resorn ..then you will ask a Wrong Question! (Example) if you are a boss for the company that you owne.. Would you want your workers to know what you do with all your Money & what you do in your personal life? (I Agree with Friend below me)

See If this makes any sense to you. This is a Quote from a very powerfull living Saint in India called Sathya Sai Baba.
There was no one to know me in the begining,
I separated myself from myself in order to love Myself.
If you ponder over this statement, you and me and indeed the projected creation is a part of Him!
Therefore Love of GOD is but a natural instinct since in the final analysis we only love ourselves when we love God and his creation.
I am not claiming that the above makes total and absolute sense to me but it is the best explanation so far to me!
There are 2 stages of understanding.
First --from the head
Second - from the Heart
I am at the head stage

I love to serve God. He asks us to help each other out. That makes sense. And that is also serving God.

You are missing the part where you come to know who God is and come to love Him and desire, as a matter of course, to serve Him.
Why would you serve a God you don't understand or know? I don't mean to talk down to you....but there is a God that is worth knowing, and if you did begin to comprehend who He is...you would understand why it is a joy to serve Him.

God does not ask that we serve Him in the sense that a slave would serve. He wants to walk with us in friendship and companionship. Like any father with his children.

Because God wanted a relationship with humans. He is our supplier. Our Creator. He wanted us to have a perfect world to live in, enjoy and have dominion over. Be conservators or stewards. I think that is wonderful. A wonderful, loving relationship with our Creator.

The short answer to the question “why did God create us?” is “for His pleasure.” Revelation 4:11 says, “Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.” Colossians 1:16 reiterates the point: “All things were created by Him and for Him.”
