Here are the numbers who think that torture is often justified:
21% Catholics

15% Overall Population
If Christians believe in the innate sanctity of each human life, that each is made in the image of God, then why would the torture of such people be supported by Christians much more readily than by secular people?

oh yes the not a "true" christian excuse is always used.....all i can say is,if those teachings are not strong enough to make a child who is brought up with those teachings to adhere to them....there has to be something wrong with the way they're taught!SOMEthing is not quite right here
and at the rate they go off excusing saying that,i don't think there's a SINGLE true christian in this entire world!
