Your doubts are trying to tell you something. Listen to them.

As to stopping, its easy. Just acknowledge that everything you've believed up until now is a sham, and get on with living your life.

It is your ability to judge and to have free will that you doubt and it is also from this that your heart found God. The greatest Christians I have known (prominant pastors included) have had doubt in their hearts at times. We aren't supposed to be little Christian robot zombies. Delight in your free will.
Always keep Christ in your heart and ask him to show you your path everyday and you WILL know.
I don't wake up everyday and ask if my dad is really my dad and what if there's a chance in a million it's the mail man. I accept him as my father and I know his love is true. If I dedicate my life to wanting proof, I'd be missing a lot.

Whatever you have doubts about, pray and look up scripture to build your faith in God. Find someone who can be your mentor. I have found this helps so much, because I can ask questions and share my feelings and feel supported and it also helps to hear someone else's point of view. Since I am a newer Christian, I know it is important to have an older Christian as a mentor.

Stop following a religion and develop a personal relationship with God instead. He will lead you and once He comes into your heart, you will no longer doubt who or what He is.

It is normal, Keep in study, stay in prayer, and remember that to question is the essence of belief, and the true path to discovery,

you cant have faith in anything that you did not or do not question, you attribute something to the greatness of god, that being the case you know you have faith if you didn't you wouldn't question it,

I question atheists all the time, I believe they exist, but if I didnt, I wouldnt question them :)

I'm sorry starry night. I didn't understand your other question.

"Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God". If you truly want absolute assurance of God's word, study the bible. Start now, and find a good bible teaching church that you can fellowship with other believers. Please believe me when I give you this counsel; I have been in bible study for ten years and I am so grounded in His word, I'm like a tree planted by a river *smile*. He did this for me, He will do it for you.
