No, not necessarily. But only you know the reasons WHY you've only had one, if in fact, you want more (also I do not know your age... not that it should really matter because I'm 36 and have never really had one but I'd say if you are 8 yrs old asking this question, I'd say maybe you shouldn't have even had one yet! :) )
For example, if fear or personal issues are holding you back from getting to know more people despite a desire to meet more people, that is something you can change for the better maybe by going to therapy or just working on it yourself. In that case, it might be a bad thing because you are holding yourself back from something you want. If you are too picky and nobody seems good enough for you, then maybe evaluate what your standards are and if they are realistic.
HOWEVER, if you are not PICKY but SELECTIVE and would rather wait for the right person to come along than spend time with someone whose company you don't enjoy then there's nothing wrong with it at all. I can relate to that myself. It seems many girls want a boyfriend just for the sake of being able to say they have one when, in fact, the relationship is not happy or isn't going anywhere.
Only you can tell for yourself what the answer is. But don't let anyone else's values dictate what is right for you!

Of course it isn't. It means more when you are that discriminating. People who have a different "boyfriend" every month are not having real relationships.
