More fundamentally than the tax code, it was the 16th amendment that authorized the income tax. That should have ended the argument about whether the income tax is constitutional, but I understand that there are any number of tax protesters who feel that this is still an open question.

i'm not sure the place you get the thought that the sixteenth modification exchange into in no way ratified. 40 two states did only that! this could be sufficient regardless of our 50 states now, yet there have been in ordinary terms 40 8 at that element. (Takes 3/4 of the states, as I keep in mind!) in case you're going off the somewhat some technicalities of ratification utilized by employing tax protesters, they have all been rejected by employing the courts.

You, or your fellow tax deniers, have been referred to Title 26 of the US Federal code hundreds of times on Yahoo Answers alone. That IS the law you keep asking about. Just because you refuse to accept the answer, doesn't make it any less accurate.

I don't think there is a law. If you don't pay income tax, you might end up going to prison. You should ask this question to Income tax department.
