If you want you can also use stock to cook the noddles in, this will make a richer dish.

i know you can cook ramen noodles in a microwave. add the water and seasoning and then yes, cover...it will help the noodles cook. i think an important thing about cooking dry noodles in the micro is to let them sit, still covered for the same amount of time that you cooked them for. the water is still cooking them once your microwave has finished heating them. it cooks them more complete that way.

Check etc.
Some where around 5 - 10 mins
presto
pasta really only needs hot water
to get to al dente.

yes with water it should be fine. i wouldnt reccomend the cover though. Just add more water that you would think to add. Only cook it for about three minutes because water can "superheat", which is very dangerous.
