Taurus is the main one I can think of.
They do not jam notoriously. Beretta has such a badly undeserved low quality reputation these days it seems. Everyone either thinks Glocks or 1911's are the greatest pistols on the face of the Earth. I think that all the "Good old American" shooters are still bitter that the 1911 was taken out as the Army's standard sidearm and then suddenly Beretta is garbage. The new polymer version of the 92 they've just released seems very promising, solid as a rock when I tried it.
Taurus's 92's are quite good. A bit cheaper than the originals and not a big difference aside from a few aesthetic things like the safety and such. They also make knockoffs of all the littles ones the Tomcat, Bobcat etc. Taurus is very underrated as well, they make revolvers that I'll take head to head with anything from Smith and Wesson any day and they're quite a bit cheaper too.

If you want a REALLY good copy of the Beretta 92fs, try the Beretta 90-Two. It's a newer design aimed at improving the design of the 92/96 models likely for eventual replacement. As such, you can get it in either 9mm, like the 92 or .40 S&W like the 96.
Overall, much of the design is the same which is not a bad thing as the 92 is a fine handgun. Near identical size, but with slightly better ammo capacity. The look is very similar, but it has smoother, more rounded edges than the 92 that are designed to reduce any chance of snagging when drawing from the holster or snagging against clothing. It has improved ergonomics, accessory rails are standard (which they weren't on many 92's), and multiple grips that are easy to swap to fit different hand sizes making it comfortable for small-large hands. To sum up, the 90-Two kept everything great about the 92/96 series, but improved upon the design with small touches that make a huge difference.
MSRP is $700 which is actually more than a 92 (MSRP $600). However, I can usually find it from dealers anywhere from 20-25% below MSRP giving it a sub-$600 price tag. Check gunsamerica.com for listings of private owners and FFL dealers who will transfer it to local FFL dealers.

I cannot comment on the P226 since I do not have hands on experience with it. However, the Beretta 92FS is a great gun,if you want to conceal carry it will be harder to carry that pretty much any other semi auto handgun. It is big and it is bulky, but it fits my hand and It shoots great. While I have no experience with the P226,I can guarantee that it will be a great gun like most of the stuff coming from Sig and it will probably be easier to conceal carry than the 92FS. Bud's had a deal awhile back, you could get a P226 that had been completely re-done by a Sig Armorer, everything was redone from the internals to the finish, they were only $579. I wanted one,but unfortunately didn't have the money at the time.

If I remember correctly, Taurus acquired the actual machines used to make Beretta 92's, so the guns are exact copies. The only other thing I'll add is that the Beretta open frame design is very reliable since it's impossible to have a stove pipe jam.

Check out TAURUS. I have a taurus in 9mm that looks exactly like the Beretta; it seems every bit as nice and is very accurate and reliable. Taurus is manufactured in Brazil and they make almost any kind of thunderstick you can imagine. I also have a taurus 44 mag with magnaporting that is superb.

Why would you want a Beretta. They suck and jam notoriously, especially the 92. Go with another Brand. Hell I'd even suggest Glock and I'm not the biggest fan of that brand.

Check out Taurus. Prices are typically between $1-300, but it depends on the dealer.
