Many paintings that portray the creation story used a white Adam and white Eve. I believe that the idea came from the paintings that have been around for a long time. Most of the paintings that had people in them used white people because most of the paintings were coming out of European. They painted people with the features they were used to seeing -- European.

Maybe it's their blue eyes and blond hair...something found all over the place in the Garden of Eden, which stood, I have read, in what is now Iraq. You will notice, when you look at a picture of an Iraqi child whose legs have been blown off, that the kid has blond hair and blue eyes and is wearing a t-shirt on which there are these words: "Jesus Loves Me."

Actually, it has been reasoned they were olive skinned. this would provide for the genetic makeup for all races combined into one pair.

It is probably just simplier to put them in as plain or white as there are no photos.

I don't know...but I believe that they were dark skinned being that God created Adam first and he took him from the dirt which looks very dark to me.
