It is written as blaspheming the Holy Spirit. To be more exact, it is denying the Holy Spirit when He prompts one to follow after God.
To deny God is the ultimate finish which is unforgiveable. That is, to die, never having given yourself to Him. Once a person repents in this life, giving their heart to the Lord, all sins are forgiven. Dying without Him is final.

The closest to a sin that cannot be forgiven is ignorance of the spiritual laws. In actual fact, the concept of sin is misleading; the law of Cause and Effect (Karma) is more explanatory.

blaspheming the Holy Spirit-which means to reject the Holy Spirit in Jesus salvation-it is unforgiveable if one dies in that state, because there is no salvation if we die rejecting the beloved savior.
John 3 repent and be born again to see the kingdom of heaven.
