It all depends on their reasons they do not want you to go...boarding schools are quite expensive and maybe they can't afford it. If they can afford it maybe they just don't like the idea of you not living at home under their supervision at such a young age. You might want to consider doing research on the benefits of going to a boarding school vs a public school and present it to your parents.Good Luck!

Based on the fact that i am currently in a boarding school, i can tell you, it's not what you think. I didnt have the choice, my situation was bad and my mom was desperate. So this school gave her a chance to get back on her feet while providing me with everything i needed. My boarding school is called Milton Hershey School, and its a school for underprivelaged youth. They give you everything and it's completely free! But you have to make under a certain amount of money. They give you free clothes, food, we have free admission to hershey park, 20 percent discount on all hershey chocolate products, and we even have our own pool plaza, but with it comes the chores and the people that you are gonna go to school with and the fact that you cant be normal. It sucks alot but can sometimes be the best thing that's ever happened to you. Lucky for you it's in the same state. I go to school in PA but live in LA so i never go home. Plus all the rules that you are required to follow that normally dont apply like no cell phones and bedtimes and computer limits. Alot of stuff is different. So it is a big step to take. I came in 4th grade and am going into 10th so ive been in one a while. It is difficult and most people leave within the first 6 months of being here. You have to tell them and show them that you really want this. And if you do get it. Never complain about it because it will be held against you.

First of all, you should really decide if you want to go to London for school. Write down the pros and cons of living on your own. How old are you? Do you have financial support? When you get it all figured out. Present it to your parents, let them know that youre ready to live on your own. I believe you should stay with your parents where you have support and liability. Instead of living on your own. How will you pay for food and all? Have you checked out schools and expenses of living there? This is a big topic to think about. I think you should really do your research.

Tell them that everyone dislikes you at now school and that you need that sort of education at boarding school in order for you to get a above average job that will be at least two times better than what you would of had. Also tell them that you can be a serious hard worker and this boarding school will bring out your potential as a stundent ready for answers.

Perhaps comming up with a way to help pay for the cost, as in a weekend or part time job. Also plan out a workable transportation plan and list the benefits of this school over the current one. Treat it like you are proposing a business deal, thats how adults think.

Well, just say that going to a boarding school is what you really want, and prove to them that a boarding school is better for you, and you are responsible enough.
I do that for my parents, and this can work for you. You should give it a try, and if not, at least it was worth a shot.
And if it is something that you'd do anything for, try your hardest. and don't give up :]

make them dislike you a lot, then accidently bring it up during an argument as so, "Well, if you don't like me so much, wouldn't it just be better to get me off of your hair and send me to boarding school?!"
Then bring up the school you have in mind during dinner or something.
