Is that worth taking to to court or no

I have a sister who works for a court. She says, "ALWAYS fight ANY ticket." More often than not, the judge will have you pay the fine but not have any points. This is especially true if you have a great driving record. Sometimes, you won't have to pay anything. However, there is always a chance for you to get both points and a fine, but that is reduced if you fight it. If you do nothing, you're still stuck with a ticket and points.

Also, don't lie. Say you were at fault and that you dont want the points. Honesty does go a long way!

To take it to court you would have to plead not guilty. Are you saying that you weren't speeding? 10 over the speed limit is not a whole lot, but you were still legitimately cited for the offense. I suggest that you don't perjure yourself.

I would suggest pleading nolo and taking whatever traffic safety course you can so that you don't get any points on your license.

You will go to court and plead innocent? If you were speeding, and got caught, you think that you should not have to pay the fine? I think that you should slow down, pay the fine, and not waste tax payers dollars in court (to pay the judge and clerk).

Were you actually going that fast? If so, suck it up and pay your fine like a grownup.
