Witchcraft is evil. It is condemned in Scripture and a Christian should not touch it.
Some here ask...why would a person say it is evil?
Because God said it is. This is not subjective. God determines what is good and what is evil. He has already ruled in the case of witchcraft, and has made it very clear.
For the Christian, this is not up for debate at all. It is a settled matter.
To play with such things to is to play with the destiny and state of ones very soul.

I find it funny how those who aren't pagan or don't practice witchcraft seem to know so much more about it than those who actually ARE pagan. Makes me wonder if Christians might have a little psychic ability they don't realize. Does that make them evil?

It isn't evil. You might think you worship the devil in Wicca, but since the devil doesn't exist to Wiccans, then they can't worship him. Witchcraft isn't evil, it's the intentions of the person using it that are good or bad.

Evil by your standards... keep that in mind- I, personally think that threatening punishment for some of the very things that make us human is pretty evil-
Its a pretty good compromise to just acknowledge the fact that there is no such thing as evil- much less confusing.

There is nothing evil about Wicca. Why don't you read up on it a bit before making disparaging remarks about something you obviously know nothing about? And I mean read something other than some Christian website telling you it's evil. If you bothered to try and understand it, you would find there's nothing evil about it.

Because in life you have two choices.
Christ said "Thy will be done" meaning God's will be done.
People who delve into evil "Do what thy wilt" as it is written in the witches creed in wicca and also a slogan of Aliester Crowley. Doing what you will is what Lucifer did to put himself above God in Isaiah 14.
"Thy Will be done" is harder since his will is for you not to sin, and it will make God ultimately the power of your life. It will make Christ the Good Shepherd and you the sheep and ultimately give you salvation.
So your question is good, Why do they mess evil stuff when complete love and grace can be ours at the price of just "Doing God's will".

To conquer evil one must know it. One must know it so well one becomes it. Only once you become that which you hate can you truly understand how to vanquish it.
But in general, people do it because they don't think that labels like 'good' and 'evil' have any relevance in today's world. I mean, I could call spaghetti evil. But I doubt it would care. Or I could call bread 'good.' But it would still be just bread. So it is with people. They are what they are. Attaching labels to them is a waste of your own time.
