I would say any vaccine with Thimersol is a definite suspect in the link between vaccines and Autism. So YES, MMR is a BIG-TIME known offender.
Thimersol was loaded with mercury, it's since been re-constructed. It takes an Internet search of less than 5 minutes to get familiar with this nasty batch of crap that the FDA and Government won't take accountability for (Naturally).
Bottom line is that the Blood-Brain Barrier isn't fully formed in a child's first year of life. Yet we're injecting crap into them that goes right to their brains and just sits there.
Before these vaccines, Autism was super rare, now the incidence is about 1 in 150 to 200 kids.
Before these shots were available, disease was more rampant for some nasty incarnations of diseases where a vaccine didn't exist. The problem began with the MAGIC BULLET approach. Some vaccines actually worked in the old days and then paved the way for many charlatans to create concoctions of crap that do nothing but destroy lives. While intentions have always been in the right place I suspect, drug companies make so much money off of these shots, I think ethics went right out the window.
The problem is that vaccines cannot be studied like a regular drug because they are many times reactionary responses to epidemics.
For thousands of years man kind survived without them, what the hell makes you think we need them so bad now.
I would research your vaccines, I don't think they are all bad. The trick is finding which ones have a proven safety track record for years and years without much reported incidence.
AVOID ANYTHING WITH "Thimersol"
People just need to use with extreme caution and be judicious about what we're putting in our kids.
I personally don't trust the Government and hope you won't either.

It hasn't been proven either way. MMR never had thimerasol in it and doesn't now. Of course other vaccines do still have some thimerasol in them. There are still lots of toxins in vaccines that really should be avoided. I believe there is a connection for some, do I believe it's the sole cause, no but there's is some connection. I have two nephews who are both autistic. I have a friend who swears up and down the vaccines caused her baby to become autisitic. Vaccines themselves are just not all they are cracked up to believe. We are injecting way too many into such little bodies. Babies blood brain barriers isn't fully developed till around 6 mths and here we are injected vaccines at birth even, whereas any toxins in the vaccine can go straight to the brain. There I believe is a connection. Take a look at the other ingredients in vaccines and it may disgust you.

I don't think there is. The increase in autism diagnoses is due to the fact that the autism spectrum is SO broad now and so more kids are being diagnosed. Also the symptoms are getting recognized better. I truly do not think there are any more autistic kids now than there were 10 years ago.
And the symptoms of autism usually show up after age one, which is coincidentally after children get the first MMR vaccine.
Put it this way - I have three kids, 2 boys and a girl. Only one of my children, my middle son, is diagnosed autistic. They all got the same vaccinations - why is he the only one affected??

I think that these "studies" can prove whatever they want to prove. One year we say that infants should sleep on their belly to prevent SIDS. The next year we change that and say to put them on their backs to prevent SIDS. And with this, people would say that "they" put all sorts of funk into our vaccinations that cause this and that. And then you have others that say there is NO connection to any of that. I don't think the FDA knows what's going on half the time. Or whoever it is that submits these studies. I think bottom line is that if autism was easy to track or trace, then we'd have a cure right now. Since we do not have a cure or a definite treatment because we can't find that information, then I'd say they can't prove a connection is valid or invalid. Just my opinion....

ITs not the vaccine itself, its the thimerosal preservative that some suspect contributes to the symptoms of autism. Thimerosal is 50% mercury by volume and in high doses can result in heavy metal poisoning. If you give kids too much of it then the kids with sensitivities can't process all of the mercury at one time and it can lead to brain damage. Just ask for vaccines w/o thimerosal.
The sad part is that even if there were concrete evidence with the vaccine and autism, because of the Patriot Act, parents in the US have absolutely no recourse.

No, the link has never been proven. The vaccine itself doesn't cause autism...the link was supposed to be between autism and the mercury found in (all) vaccines.
You can be choosy about which to give your children, but the MMR is not one I'd opt out of.

A parent in my classroom seems to think so. She said her child was fine until he got the MMR shot. Now he is a high fuctioning autistic child. He rates at the top of the scale but until he had the shot, the Dr. said that he was on target for everything.

Yes there is a connection with Autism and ALL vacines. Think about this..in other countries where the vacines have been outlawed there is litteraly NO austism. They can't find out what causes it well there is a place to start. I suggest that you buy Kevin Trudeas More natural cures revealed. It is the second of his natural cures books. The first one was previously censored buy the government. It was a great book. It changed my life.(you don't need to read the first one to benifit from the second one.)He explains about different diseases and vacines and ties in them.

I know that my cousin was perfectly fine until he got his shots, though i'm not sure exactly what shots they were, he was like 2 years old or maybe a little smaller. After the shots he had a stroke, had to re-learn how to talk and walk and has autism. Not sure if that helps, but i know first hand that some shots do cause problems.

If there is a connection, it has not been scientifically proven to exist. Saying there is one does not make it so.
