I'm not sure what you are asking. I know a lot of rowers, men and women, and some of them are hetero, some of them are gay. Was that what you wanted to know?

As for being completely manly--well, there are kids who row and women who row, so I guess it's not "manly" in that sense--thank goodness!

Yes, it requires a lot of stamina. Competitive rowing demands a high degree of strength and aerobic capacity, so it's not for everyone. There is, however, recreational rowing, where strength and stamina aren't such a big deal.

I have no idea what "complatiance" is, but if you have plenty of strength and stamina but don't find the usual 2-km race distance challenging enough (!?!), you might try the 115-mile CPR.

In my opinion, it is not a "bad sport," but I can't think of any sport I would label as "bad."

Gay? Yeah, it seems like a pretty happy sport. However, the practices can be really tough, that's probably why you don't always see all the rowers smiling...

what happened? did you get cut from the squad for being too fat during coxswain try-outs? AND the spelling-bee team for being an elitist dumbass non-speller? there are women's rowing teams as well, svengali. but i'm sure you researched that.
