Since the advent of Stay At Home Moms and Stay At Home Dads, do economic times warrant Stay At Home Children?

No one should stay at home all the time. Even ill people need to get out some, unless they are contagious. Everyone should have outside interests, and inside and family interests.
Quit trying to box people up.
Every mom I know is a working mother. Every dad I know is a house-husband. Every old person I know, dreams of next week's activities, and has friends to play with. Every child worries.

I don't really understand what you are asking. From the beginning of time one parent or another has stayed home with the children. It is only since WWII I believe that both parents began working. I don't know what you mean by Stay at home children.

I think more people work at home now than they did in the old days, but i dont see how that came from their mothers or fathers being stay at home parents.

Probably so... especially if there is more than one child in the house. I think it should also depend on the children ages. Some children are not meant to be outside without parental supervision

ya those are call'd college students or 18+ yr old children. u know the ones who find it cheaper to stay wit cha when they are suppose to go off to college but dont bc its cheaper to spend cha money n eat up all ya food instead ..same goes for the 18+ kids.

Kids already stay at home - they aren't that independent. Except for the fact that they have to go to school, they can't do EVERYTHING they want.

no thats like retarted. although some kids do actually do that. but most kids go to skool and work etc. Adults do what they want but kids are under the rule of the grownups
