Try some 7 up and some saltines... try some pepto they also have remedies for nausea...I would just do the 7 up or sprite and the saltines. Salt from the crackers will help with the nausea along with soda. Also try to keep hydrated too...ice pops etc...they have special ice pops for that too!

First of all, you really need a new doctor. There is no such thing as "stomach flu". Flu is short for influenza, and it has nothing to do with diarrhea or upset stomach. It's a serious respiratory illness that can be fatal to elderly people and others with weak systems. What your daughter has is probably an intestinal virus, and any doctor with any sense will call it that. Furthermore, he should have given you some guidance on what to do about it so you don't have to go hunting for information from strangers on the internet. If she can keep it down, give her Pedialyte to replace the fluids she's losing from vomiting and diarrhea. Keep her quiet; sing to her, read to her. If she runs a temperature make sure she doesn't take a chill; if it goes above 100, get the doctor on the phone again.

The stomach flu is a virus, so have your daughter get as much rest as possible. Also, to prevent dehydration, have her drink as much fluids as possible, like water. When we were little kids, we always had ginger ale. This website I found can give you plenty of information on stomach flu and how to treat it!

I worry that they are ignoring signs of dehydration. Try to get some Pedialyte in her or water, juice, etc. A warm bath might help, as well as something bland to eat. Bananas are great for the runs.
But most of all, if this continues for much longer, you need to go over your doctor. Children can dehydrate much, much quicker than adults. You know your child, trust your instincts.

Awww i'm sorry it always hurt me to see my daughter sick also, try some gatorade or some chicken broth, maybe a cracker or two, something light but not too much cause her stomach is tender now. Just let it run it's course and it'll be over before you know it.

Ginger ale helps. Also try Emetrol, you can get it at CVS or Rite-Aide or any store like that. You have to take it every 30 mins until the nausea goes away. Try giving her Pedialite to help her stay hydrated.

Make sure that she stays hydrated. Also, make sure that she is getting plenty of rest. A humidifier in her room may help. A warm bath is also comforting. Good luck. I hope she feels better!
