I have been using primatene mist inhaler for my asthma for at least 15 years now. Sometimes when I use the inhaler a few mins. later I will get these sharp pains in my stomache going towards my back right below my rib cage. Also when I am having the pains I fell like i have to go throw up and sometimes do. Also I will start getting hot and start sweating. These pains might last for like 10 mins. and nothing works for the pain I just have to go lay down.

I HAVE BEEN TO THE DR. BUT THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT.

I HAVE ALSO WENT TO THE ER FOR THIS TO AND DID A X-RAY AND EVERYTHING IS CLEAR AND THE DR.'S LOOK AT ME STUPID THINKING THIS IS ALL IN HER HEAD....

HELP DO ANYONE MIGHT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON???

the medicine is going into your stomach and that's why you're getting those pains afterwards. The rib cage pain could be from the medication. It's probably time for you to switch to a different type of medication for your asthma. You're going to have to try a different doctor. I can't believe the doctor didn't think about the medication. See an asthma specialist.

I wonder if some of the Primatine is going into your stomach. Or are you having a pain that comes from the lungs? Do you have another inhaler for the asthma that you can use and stop the Primatine for a while to see if it makes a difference?
