Yes i've seen it what an eyeopener,and as for bob he might think he know about global warming but he obviously knows nothing about the British media,to say channel 4 is a British version of Fox is like saying The Sex Pistols are a British version of the Osmonds,and as for the BBC rejecting it well since it's well known for being riddled with politically correct left wingers theres no surprise there.

It's a British porgramme not American. It was broadcast by the controversial network Channel 4 in the UK on 8th March 2007. It had previously been rejected by other reputable networks including the BBC because it was unscientific, erroneous and misleading. And yes, I have seen it.

Who would be the best person to tell you how accurate the programme is - the producer obviously. His e-mail address is gw at wagtv dot com, why not ask him for yourself what he thinks of his own TV programme. Be prepared for disappointment when he tells you it's scientific garbage and was produced with the sole intention of causing controversy. His name's Martin Durkin - Google him.

That movie is bogus. More details:

It is simply a political statement which distorts science. The director has a history of putting out misleading stuff. In 1997 he made a series for Channel 4 called “Against Nature”, which compared environmentalists with Nazis. Channel 4 had to apologise for the misleading stuff in that one. The present movie is also a distortion of the science. More here:

Channel 4 itself undercuts the movie in a funny way. If you go to their website on the movie you find links to real global warming information. They also have a way to "Ask the Expert" about global warming. The questions go to a respected mainstream scientist who supports (mostly) human responsibility for global warming.

So why did Channel 4 air it? They're the British equivalent of the Fox network.

Gore's movie is a little overdramatic, but it has the science basically right. Compared to "swindle" it's the Encyclopedia Brittanica. Compared to Martin Durkin, Gore is the Oracle of Truth.
