I don't like cute names like "Cuddly Critters". I really like the name "Watch Spot Pet Sitting" however people with cat's may not feel like I specialize in cats b/c Spot is usually a dogs name. I could write under it "Love Cats Too!". What do you think. I also like Pavlov's Dogs Pet Sitting. Anyone who has taken psychology know about Pavlov's dogs. But again it leave cats out of the picture. I also need a slogan. Any suggestions for names or slogans? I need a name that really sticks out and catches people's attention. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Also if you are a pet sitter and have any advice for me I'm all ears. Thanks.

Canines and Cats Pet Sitting - You could shorten it to C & C Pet Sitting. I've only done pet sitting a few times and it was just for friends. I would reccomend they leave you with the vet's name and address, sign some sort of "permission" document that will allow you to have the pet treated at their financial expense in case of emergency! Also, get a form for them to fill out and have them list what the dog or cats daily schedule is like so you can follow it as much as possible. You may be required to give medication and have the people sign a form that would release you from any liability if something went wrong with that too! You could include it in the "permission" document. And, ask them what and how much to feed the pets and have them clearly mark all foods for the pets! Another thing you should get is personal references to give to new clients.

There is a great book called Pet Sitting for Profit. I can't remember the author, but it's a great book if you're just starting out. As for names, how about Pet Tenders? I always liked that one. :)
