When people play God, we call it progress and science.

When God plays God, we complain.

Alright, if you was born with aids it was your parents fault not Gods you dont just get aids for no reason its passed. Now Mentally retarded people indeed have a purpose, for example that one guy who tried out for American Idol he became famous anyway, maybe he is a sign to every handicapped person that even though you are down you can raise higher then many people, also God does not make things happen he allows life to take its course most things such as aids were created by mans doing, God gives everyone a chance for salvation, most people with handicaps or a bad life have alot anger and either destroy themselves or they use their anger for great things, like allot rappers were told theyd never make it they used their anger to make it now their big time alot basketball players same thing, but alot hanmdicapped jus grow bitter, and alot of mentaly handicapped are very joyful and careless of worries, thats one thing the masntally challenged are superior in

It's all a matter of perspective.

Even if you are born healthy, you could have an accident and become paralized. Blaming God is easy to do, because as men with pride, we would never blame ourselves. Am I right?

As long as you are, you are for a purpose. If you don't have a purpose you would not be. Handicaped people still have a heart, still have a soul, still have options and chances in life. Most probably value life much more than you and me.

At my church some of the most beautiful people (and souls) in the building are the mentally handicapped. God sees them as beautiful, and as his children. It is a great pity you cannot. For they are beautiful indeed. They are handicapped in mind only; but better this, than to be handicapped in soul.

***

At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" And calling to Him a child, He put him in the midst of them, and said, "Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

I agree with Beverly. Mentally challenged people are to remind us no one is perfect and not to judge unrighteously. (They may not understand or relate to things like most of the rest of us do and so G-d takes that into account... if you are talking about salvation in the next life). I see them as an opportunity to practice Christlike love, care and patience. Because we should know that we are to be "our brother's keeper." With much ability and knowledge like most of us have, comes much responsibility. We are to be responsible for those who are weaker or more innocent and take care of them, just as we would want to be cared for.

Under God's plan the mentally handicapped, like children, will go to heaven when they die, if they never reach the age when they could be accountable for their sins. God loves and values them and they will live with Him in paradise.
God Bless

"the place is God while harmless toddlers anybody is murdered?" He actually isn't absent, nor does he locate exhilaration in what got here about. He might have morally sufficient motives for permitting it that we do basically no longer comprehend. basically by using fact we don't comprehend the reason does not rapidly propose that God does not have one. We basically have not got that lots awareness. "i've got faith there's a God i'm no longer an atheist yet why can we ought to continuously burn in eternal hell for searching for different religions out. " human beings circulate to hell for his or her sins, no longer for the reason you gave. "loving all Gods by using fact they are in actuality an identical God?" this may be a exceedingly ignorant assertion. All one has to do is learn each and each faith to work out how basically distinctive each and each god is from one yet another.

I can tell you one thing about mentally "challenged" people. There was a group of "special friends" that I used to attend- and they knew how to worship God. We who claim, to be "all together" are so stiff when it comes to showing how much they love God- these special people tell God how much they love them, and come to Him, like little children- open handed, and open heart type of love for Him. Wish I could do as well.

they usually round them up and take them on "field trips" to a church and make easy converts and milk the money from those in parental roles of the handicapped

saw it firsthand

these are the types of jobs christians relegate themselves to and call it a mission or witnessing but take advantage of the weak and mentally inferior

thankfully not all handicapped are mentally challenged, some have the good sense to tell them off and quit trying to tell them they were born out of sin and a curse and god won't heal them

I have been told that is a child is born mentally challenged, he/she will be automatically saved even if they get to adulthood, and they are without faculty to have anything but a mind of a child. But in Heaven, they will have everything.

I have met some mentally challenged people and they are some of the most joyful and special people I have met.
Perhaps they can remind us that none of us are perfect and that no matter what our challenges we can be happy.
