Yes once long ago, when I was talking with an old friend who I was GREATLY concerned about- and I did not pray beforehand, I kinda went off on my own tangent with the truth and then realized how wrong I was!! I mean wrong in the way I was sharing the truth- and I will never go back to that place again, for sometimes we as humans can get puffed up and its wretched!!
He has forgiven me since and I am glad, and I pray all the time for only God's wisdom and for Him to be my words-- to keep me humble and graceful towards others~

Behind my back maybe. Sometimes your assertiveness is always mistaken for arrogance. And as long as I am sure that I am not using aggression to get through my point, I will not mind other people calling me arrogant.

Yes, I have. Actually yesterday I was called arrogant because I am an American. Of course they also used selfish, bigot, and about four other adjectives.

Yes, i think that's the christian's favorite word. They use it all the time to try to make atheists sound like we're all "know-it-alls" when they go around claiming they "KNOW" what exists and what doesn't exist.
I'm not even sure that most of them know what the definition of arrogant is. Most of them don't even know how to spell it.

Once. Interestingly, I was called this by one of the most ignorant, self-absorbed people I've ever met.

Yay-yuh. Someone once called me a "pompouse ******." It was just because I out-smarted and out-witted them in arugment. Another said at that time that I was "too smart for your britches." I told her she was correct then proceeded to take my pants off!
