Resting in peace has nothing to do with believing in any god. As long as your mind is at ease when you pass, and you believe in your heart that you have led a good life, you will rest in peace.
If you want to get really technical, it actually doesnt matter at all because most atheists believe that when you die, thats the end anyway, so there really is no such thing as "resting in peace" - you're buried in the earth, and your time has come to pass. The End.

How can you have a funeral without mentioning the Flying Spaghetti Monster?
How do you have one without mentioning Buddha, Kali, or Allah?
Same here, the notion is absurd and without merit. Besides, I won't have a funeral. My useable parts will be recycled and the rest burned. Family and friends will hold a good wake, where they will party hard and tell embarrassing stories about me.

We aren't buried because we're afraid that Christians will urinate on our corpses just for fun lol. Seriously though there is no God and once you're dead you'll rest forever.
