while at work this guy whos a server there, asked me to leave because he had something serious to talk to the servers and the manager about, i am a host and servers are always blaming us for stuff..so maybe he was going there and he didn't want me to hear so i wouldn't tell the other hosts, but why coouldn't he just grow up and tell me to my face what he feels, he's 24 going to 25 in the fall, but was that rude of him,of asking me to leave ? and does that necessarily mean he was talking bad about me or someone i know?
this guy is the sort of guy that will tell everything to everyone about his or someone else's eprsonal life so that is why i am kind of bugged by it ..i kinda of felt like an outcast and this guy i thought was cool with me, i mean we walk to class together since we attend the same school.. he jokes so personally with me, it's on the line of sexual harassment so i dont know why he felt i couldn't hear what he was going to talk about

What he did doesn't necessarily signal that he was talking about you. There could have been an issue with a customer or something that not everyone should know about. I wouldn't worry about it and just continue your friendship as usual.

It sounds like he's pulling rank. I know, I know, you're the host and he's the server, but he's trying to make himself seem more important by being able to get you out of the room. If he had wanted to discuss this matter with the manager, most places I've ever seen have an office in the back where this sort of thing can be discussed. However, there's not really much you should do about it other than not let it bother you. That way, you win.

Maybe he was talking to the boss about some heavy personal stuff about himself. Something like "Uhh I can't be in to work tommorrow, I have an appt. at the free clinic to see what the results of my herpes test were..." or "Can you guys fill in my schedule next week? My babymama's got thrown in jail and I need to watch the kid." Ease off the guy maybe he has to deal with some hard stuff right now that has nothing to do with you in the first place. You really want to begrudge the guy some dignity and want to hear all his dirt?

Truthfully, I'd be more concerned that he's bordering on sexual harassment when he talks to you. If he really was talking trash about you, you would have been confronted by the servers or managers already. If they have any common sense, they would ask for your side to the story before judging.

Hell, yeah, he was being rude! I think he PROBABLY saying something bad about you! Maybe you should wait until one of you guys are off the clock and AT LEAST 3 miles away from your workplace, pull him to the side, ask him what's his deal, and if you get a response from him that seems disrespectful to you, curse his @$$ OUT and kick his @$$!!!! (Oh, BTW, if you guys are gonna confront each other ANYWHERE from the workplace, make SURE that y'all DON'T have on your uniforms and that you're in regular street clothing so you DON'T end up losing your jobs!)

Mike Hunt. I used to artwork for a business enterprise the place between the revenues reps got here in almost wetting himself with laughter. He were to make certain a consumer, a Mr M Hunt yet he did no longer recognize what his first call grew to become into. The receptionist on the workplace greeted our rep and then began to objective to hint down Mr Hunt. It grew to become into basically whilst she referred to as to a colleague "has every person considered Mike Hunt?" that our rep lost it thoroughly!

Maybe it was something that only pertained to the servers, so it was not necessary for you to hear it. If you were there, the servers may have wondered why.

If you don't trust him he may be talking about you...usually if you approach people like him "gossips" right to his face straight up he'll give you the truth and perhaps respect you more for making him own up to his ways. And for further info...don't confide in someone who wouldn't even keep his own secrets.

Maybe it was something personal. Personal not pertaining to you but to himself that is. He might've not wanted you to hear it cause it is personal.
Or maybe it might be about you. He might be talking trash about you. Or maybe he's talking about how to make you fall for him. Who knows?
