If not, what would happen to the air pressure of a church? Would the sudden air pressure change just kill the unbelievers in the room anyway?

I'd be more worried about the C4 strapped to their waists.

The rapture is how fundamentalist Christians are going to justify suicide bombing.

Whether you agree with it or not, suicide bombing is a tactic that works in asymmetrical warfare and that's the type of wars we're going to be in for quite a long time.

It's funny how prophesies have a tendancy of coming true.

PV = nRT

since all but P and V would be constant (unless there was heat produced or consumed in the process), the change in P would be proportional to the change in V. The volume of a person is maybe about 50 liters, so if you have some guess about how many people it would be and the volume of the church (or the atmosphere), the math would be very easy.

The atmosphere would shrink to fill the space, but there would be a pressure transient, and a then a very slightly lower Patm afterwards (but probably immeasurable, a fraction of a Pascal)

As I understand it, Jesus and maybe Enoch and Elijah and perhaps some others are the only bodies in heaven. The others are souls of those that have died assuming they go to heaven instead of Hades. Jesus is God Himself, The Creator (John 1:1) God Himself came to earth and took on humanity, lived a perfect life, died for our sins and rose again along with His body. Jesus will come and the dead shall rise first, then they that are living will go up together to meet God in the air. At that time, I'm under the opinion we will get our eternal bodies .. for it says we shall see His face. There are some who have never seen before, so either we'll be healed or changed. The event commonly referred to as the rapture is clearly described in the Bible. God made it crystal clear what will occur for even a child to understand. God can and will do whatever He wants to do. I wouldn't want to miss the rapture for the world.

I am convinced the Rapture happened long ago, and God replaced the volumes of the missing believers with dull, unimaginative, annoying creatures, sent as a plague to punish the evil atheists of the world.

He'll replace them with pillars of salt. He's not very original.

Most of the church wouldn't be going anyway.

Our bodies wont be replaced, they will become glorified bodied, and our soul & spirit will reclaim it, That's the way I.ve been taught, if that's not right, I'll find out later, and it might be sooner then later.

the rapture is a lie. i believed that nonsense and did some homework and found it's a lie.

Jesus said "immediately AFTER The tribulation of those days you shall see the sign of the son of man and he shall send his angels etc..."

after means after..no pretrib fly away for cowards.

there is no air in our body or space, there is light within our body that cover the glory of GOD.

That wont matter. The important thing is to be among the number that get to go. Accepting Jesus as your personal savior is the ticket.
