I sent a box last week to a soldier I adopted and it only cost me $8.95 from Texas to Iraq. Get the flat rate boxes for priority mail, they were free from the post office. Also call this number to get more free boxes, labels, and customs forms at (800)-222-1811. Select order supplies, then priority and when you talk to a representative ask for the military pack. Hope this helps.

If you are sending it to an APO address then it is the same cost as if it stayed inside the U.S.
When I have sent packages I have used the flat rate boxes from the post office. The larger ones fit a good bit in them, and it is just under $9.

yes, the flaterate boxes r good. no matter the weight , u'll pay the same. unless u live somewhere overseas and u can send it from an APO adress to his APO adress ...then it's free no matter the box size or the weight. instead of the stamps u will write MPS in the right upper corner(military postal service)

Ok.. Get the flat rate boxes. You can pack them as heavy as you want but it will only cost $9.10 or 7 something depending on the box you but.. No need for UPS just use the post office..

If you are sending to an APO you will pay domestic rates. Give me a to and from zip code and I can tell you exactly how much it will cost.
