You and you dad's cousin's daughter are second cousins. Your daughter is her second cousin once removed, your daughter and her kids are therefore third cousins!!
The word removed means different generation, so your first cousin's kids are your first cousins once removed but your kids second cousins....hope that clears it up for you!!!!!

All children of your natural Aunts and Uncles (both your parents' Sisters and Brothers) are your First Cousins, and you are their First Cousin: All children of your First Cousins are your Second Cousins, and you are their Second Cousin: All children of your Second Cousins are your Third Cousins, which makes you their Thrid Cousin; and so on, from one generation to the next. For example: Your Mother's First Cousin is your Second Cousin. Your Mother's Second Cousin is your Third Cousin, and so on. Each number (First, Second, Third, etc.) represents one generation removed (or "down the line.") Hope this clarifies the question for you.

Cousinly relationships are based on the generations back you are related. If you share the same grandparents, then you are first cousins; if you share the same great grandparents, then you are second cousins; and so on.

The idea of being cousins "removed" is how many generations apart you are. For example, Fred's great grandparents are Rachel and Rob, and they are also Sally's great-great-great grandparents. This means that Fred is the second cousin twice removed of Sally because they share Fred's great-grandparents and are two generations apart.

In short, you are friends with your second cousin, you are her daughter's second cousin once removed, and your children are the third cousins of your second cousin's children.

Your father's first cousin is your first cousin once removed. Her daughter would be your second cousin. Your father's first cousin's daughter would be your daughter's 2nd cousin once removed.

fathers cousins daughter is your second cousin

i don't know the word for your daughter to her but your daughter to her daughter would be third cousin. My guess would be 2nd aunt/uncle??? (thats a complete guess, not the third cousin but the uncle/aunt)

EDIT: listen to the person ontop of me she's probably right

I've wondered about this one ever since I've met online a third cousin, twice removed, who is also a double cousin.

Wikipedia furnishes a great chart that explains degrees of cousins:

I am absolutely positive that this is correct as I wrote it out and worked it out. If you have a cousin that person is your first cousin. Your father's cousin in relation to you is your second cousin. Their daughter is your second cousin once removed.

Your father's cousin's daughter is your second cousin once removed.

For your daughter, more tricky. Your cousin would be her second cousin. Your father's cousin would be her third cousin Therefore your father's cousin's daughter would be her THRID cousin ONCE removed.

Your child's relation to your second cousin once removed's children: THIRD cousin TWICE removed.

I am 99% positive this is correct. I

To summarise: She is your second cousin once removed
She is your daughter's third cousin once removed.
Her children are your children's third cousins twice removed.

Hope this helped.
