I had the same problem. When we moved my daughter who had been going potty for at least 2 years started going whereever she wanted to. She was almost 4 at the time. So first I tried the puniching, taking things away, not letting her go play with a friend, or not being able to play with a toy, time out chair. That worked for a little bit but then it started again. So I started making her clean it up. If she pooped she had to pick it up and clean the spot same if she peed. She did that for about 2 days and that was the end of it. It never happened again. Just make sure when they are not looking that the spot is cleaned good.

You need to start with some serious reprocutions when this is done by your children. Obviously you know this is not ok and daycare needs the pooping child to be removed as it is extremely unsanitary not to mention other kids are picking up on it. This is crazy!! Your kids are old enough not to do this. Mom needs to step it up a notch.

18 months is truthfully very early for potty practise. 2 a million/2-3 a million/2 is the extra time-honored variety. So, in case you initiate off at 18 months, you is generally at it for a 365 days or extra. Or, you are able to wait until eventually she's 2 a million/2 or 3, and be finished in each and every week. extraordinarily considering the fact that she nevertheless isnt' strolling properly and isnt' very verbal i does no longer be in any rush. signs and indications of readiness for practise comprise: able to talk and comprehend you speaking approximately employing the potty. Staying dry/sparkling for countless hours at a time. able to stroll to the potty and handle her very own outfits with minimum help know-how of having pee'd /pooped. desire to apply the potty/positioned on undies Dislike of being grimy/moist able to voluntarily launch urine/stool, and to voluntarily carry it in long sufficient to get to the potty. (you will no longer comprehend this, probably, until eventually you initiate off -- yet taking her to the potty each and every 10 minutes in hopes of 'catching' something would not count style.) i do no longer see any point out on your submit of ANY of those signs and indications -- so relax. Wait until eventually she is waiting and issues will pass lots extra easily.

So who is pooping on the rug? Your child or someone else's child? If it's someone else's child, why do you care? If they are your kids, I would put them in pull-ups or let them clean up the mess themselves. I'm sure once they've scrubbed the carpet and their clothes a couple of times, they will change their tune.

YOur kids are imitating what they see. They need to go in the corner when they go on themselves and maybe just sit in the pee for a little while until they are uncomfortable.

Let them clean it up. Threaten that if they do not stop soon they will have to be treated like little kids again. you could even take something away from them
