like Video Professor etc.....online courses..etc...i have done some non credit computer evening courses but found they moved too fast (8 Hours)and credit college courses give far too much detail...meant more for those in IT field etc...

Hi. No sarcasm intended, but "Excel for dummies". Good start.

Go to your local unemployment agency and ask them about any class that they offer for excel.
Also, if you go to a temp agency they usually have the excel test but they have one that will show you the correct way to do the answer...the training one they give you prior to the test. They may allow you to use the pre test which will show you the actual way to use Excel for each step and you can most likely do this at your home in your own time.
Ask them for the beginner first.

Sometimes the local library will have the trainer test as well.
