I've heard some pretty bad ones: One mile over the limit, just for having a bad cop no donut sticker on a car...

I was once pulled over as I was driving slow (I was looking for an address) at night and had a tint on the drivers window. The cop pulled me over and as he shone his flashlight in my car, he saw a small box of medicines. He wanted to arrest me as I had Physicians samples of FUNGAL OINTMENT and ALLERGY PILLS in my car without a prescription (my uncle was a doctor and gave me the stuff as I had athletes foot and hay fever).

When I threatened him with a lawsuit for false arrest and examining my car without probable cause and no search warrant, he let me go. I had an international journalist in my car and he was laughing! BTW we were both dressed in suits and I was driving a BMW.

I wouldn't know where to start. I got pulled over for driving slowly in a residential area.

I was pulled over last year because I physically fit the description of someone who ran from an officer up the street a few minutes before. (Keep in mind that I was driving, so all he could see was from my shoulders up).

I was pulled over for crossing two lanes so I could turn right at the light that was coming up. The cop let me go then pulled me over immediately again cuz he said he noticed empty cans on my floor board and wanted a closer look... they were energy drinks (rockstar)... he let me go.

I was pulled over for illegally tinted windows.

There were a few more but I never recieved a ticket or a citation of any sort. I did get one ticket in my life for driving 85 in a 65 on the interstate.

I got pulled over twice. Once on Wed night at 9:30 and once the next night at the same time by the same cop. Said I was swerving while driving. I stayed in the lines so he had nothing to charge me with. Applogized for pulling me over the second night.

I thought a "no right turn on red" sign applied to an intersection 10 feet ahead and not to a curve in the road. The stupid police saw my naturally big pupils and decided I must be on drugs (I wasn't). They searched my car, made me do roadside tests and tried to pressure me into a confession. "We can tell you're on something!" they kept saying.
After about 20 minutes of nonsense they let me go with "only" a ticket.
Weeks later new signs and limit lines were added, making it clear where you were supposed to stop when the light was red.

There are millions of reasons a cop could pull you over. It develops from probable cause. The stupidest reason though has to be tinted windows.

Being a female. My ex and I were living in a really small town. They had this one police officer who only pulled over women - guess he was afraid of the men. After I stopped, he approached the car and I asked him "what did I do?" He looked at me, then noticed a man sitting on the passenger side of the car, and said "I thought one of your tail lights was out but it looks fine now. Have a good evening."
We just sat there for a few moments and said to each other "what in the world was that all about?" That's when my ex (who was the male passenger and we were married at the time) told me about the police officer who only pulled over women.

When I was in college, my girlfriend and I went on a weekend in Virginia in a rented, bright red Camaro. We were quite a pair, me in my long hair and beard and her in long glamorous red hair.

There was a police car with a big Sheriff star on it and growing up in NY metro area I had never seen a real sheriff before so I kind of gave him a good look-over as we passed him on the road. He sat there in his smokey the bear hat and mirrored shade and GLARED back at me.

Well, he pulled up behind and started tailgating me. I mean like 3 inches behind me and kept there for several miles. I kept my eye on him in my mirror because he was kind of freaking me out. And I didn't see the speed limit change from 55 to 35 and he pulled me over.

He ran my license and I didn't get a ticket but did get a good lecture which was hilarious. "THIS IS SURE A FINE CAR YOU GOT AND I'M SURE IT REALLY PULLS OUT, BUT WE GOT LAWS HERE, BOY, AND WE GOT 'EM FOR A REASON." And, "I WANT YOU TO KEEP ON DRIVIN' BACK HOME AND I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU IN THIS COUNTY AGAIN."

What a riot!

Got pulled over in Texas because my Arkansas plated car did not have a front license (we do not have them here), he then asked "What do they not require an inspection sticker in AR either?"

I said "nope..if it runs, it's good to go!"
